Reflection about SINIGANG by Marie Aubrey Villaceran
The 2001 short tale Sinigang was written by Marie Aubrey J. Villaceran. This story details how the main character, Liza, dealt with the fact that her father had an adulterous relationship with Sylvia and as a result, produced a son named Lem.
This short novella, "Sinigang," describes the experiences that the majority of Filipino households have. Unfortunately, a lot of people can identify with this narrative, which involves a destroyed family due to an affair and other things. The moral lessons in this work are also lessons that are really needed and necessary in our lives because this is mirrored in real life. Let me now go over each of the principles and lessons I learned from reading this novel.
One of the best bases for a family is honesty. Speaking the truth is important, but so is being genuine to who you are, how you feel, and what you want to communicate to other people as well. A family with an honest link is as solid as a rock; with this value, you can see through the person you love honestly, and it will help reduce misunderstandings among the people in your life. Be sincere and sincere.
Forgiveness is frequently described as the act of letting go of resentment, bitterness, anger, and the desire for vengeance or retaliation towards someone who has harmed us. When Liza's father prayed for forgiveness, the story illustrated this lesson. It's easier said than done to forgive someone.

Since I learned about extramarital affairs as a student in the 21st century literature, I can identify to Liza's feelings throughout the entire novel because I have also personally dealt with this type of situation. It occurs in about half of the population, I realized, not just one or two families. Cheating is a decision. Being a male and being unable to control yourself does not give you the right to cheat. No, you can choose it. The left spouse will doubt his or her value and be bothered by it for a very long time; it's just sad and unjust to them. It will allegedly leave a mark that will remain on the children's bodies forever.
